Thin women are either applauded, if they are models, or told they need to eat more, if they are not.
Many ‘thin’ women are not that way because they choose to be. Many may be dealing with medical issues, not eating issues. How do I know? Well I have Colitis, and trust me, it’s not an eating issue.
For women who do not fit the ‘norm’ clothing is always an issue. In this case I’m talking about thin women.
Whether it’s a medical, or an emotional issue, some women can’t change their size, no matter how hard they try. I have to say I get comments that suggest that if I just ate more I wouldn’t be so thin. This kind of outlook, from people you know, and even strangers, can push a thin woman to try to hide her size. A thin woman shouldn’t have to feel they need to hide their size because it is out of their control.

When it comes to picking a clothing gift for a thin woman in your life it’s really important to recognize that she may want to try to cover up in the Spring/Summer as much as she layered in the Fall/Winter. Layering gives the illusion that she is larger than she actually is.
Layering is not so easy in the warm weather.
Layering doesn’t have to look unattractive. There are many great fashion ideas that she will love when the warm weather arrives. Some woman can make the piece of clothing a bit more loose, while others are more flowing, which so many women love.

A loose top over a skirt, a flowing vest over a pair of pants, a scarf around the neck and loose over a t-shirt, loose longish jacket over pants or a skirt. a long flowing top over pants and a loose-fitting dress. All of these a very stylish and will make her look wonderful.
As a thin woman I know how hard it is, but how important it is, to feel, and look good, in the warmer weather.
