It’s not too early to think about the ski season!
The U.S. National Weather Service says there’s now as much of a 60 per cent chance the Northern Hemisphere will be facing La Niña conditions this winter. Last winter saw La Niña conditions, leading to a very snowy winter up and down the west coast.
Heavy snowfall was a feature here in the Lower Mainland’s 2016-17 winter and it appears it is coming back. Here in beautiful British Columbia that means our mountains will be open early with fabulous skiing conditions. So that made me think about what kind of gear would be great for skiers.
