I mentioned in a previous post that I am reworking the site to add showcase some of my favorite items. It’s a lot of work to do this, and I have a long way to go before I am finished, but I admit I am having fun too. The last batch I was doing was shoe & boots.
Of course when I am working on the women’s section it is the most fun, since I am a woman. I look at so many different types of shoes and boots, so many different styles, colors, fabrics, then choose. I have to pick the ones I hope will best showcase these for you, with a bit of my taste and hopefully bit more general taste. Who Knew A Purse Was Such A Great Gift For Her

I have never really been that ‘into’ purses. Well, I admit, I had a different purse for different outfits. I had a black one, blue one, brown one, and a neutral purses that would go with just about everything. But I was never really excited about purses, until now. The other day I was watching a daytime talk show, well not really watching, more catching a glimpse as I was getting dinner ready. Ok I was watching it 🙂
Anyways…
In this part of the program a contestant from the audience was called up. She was told she had answer questions in order to win purses. I think she had the opportunity to win 5, but don’t quote me on that. So the contestant answers some, or all, or the questions and then she gets a purse for each correct one. Well I was amazed at the reaction of what she won.
Sure they were designer bags. Sure they were worth a lot of money. But purses?
The winner was jumping up for joy. Holding the purse like it was a baby, Putting all the purses over her shoulder have hugging them. I was amazed. That got me to thinking. Just because I am not the type of woman who drools at a purse for a gift, how many women do? So I did a search online and purses are almost as big as shoes when it comes to a present for a woman. Let Someone Know You Care This Valentine’s Day
Valentine’s Day the day for expressing your love to your partner and your family.
But not everyone experiences joy that day.
There are lots of folks out there that aren’t in a relationship, or don’t have a family near to share with, that dread this day. It could be they are single, or divorced, or widowed. When someone is alone on a day like Valentine’s Day it’s not much fun. For some it can be a terrible reminder of what has been lost.
So we should all reach out and touch that someone we know and shine a light in their life this Valentine’s Day. That’s what it’s really about. A reminder to never take those we travel through life with for granted, and to spread our love to those who don’t have enough love or companionship in their lives.
You can bring ‘light and love’ into their life on that day by a phone call, a visit, or a gift.
When I thought about this I went out and found some unique items that can spread love and cheer – ideas just for them – to make them smile and know someone cares about them. Something that is a bit Valentine’s Day oriented, but will bring them a smile for many days to come.
