As a kid I so wanted to be active but I was tied up like a dog, on a leash that kept me from moving very far from home. When I reached about 4 or 5 years old I was finally allowed to move freely, and when I did I can tell you I ran, skipped, jumped, climbed trees, anything I wanted to do.
Exercise was wonderful. As time went on I started to power walk, bike, do weight training, did tai chi and so much more.
So when I went to university I took on a part-time job teaching fitness classes. I not only loved to teach but I also loved to be fit. I taught aerobics, weight training, tai chi, and so much more. My clients age range was teens to seniors.
Back in those days they didn’t have all unique and fantastic fitness tools, accessories and machines that you can find now.
These are wonderful gifts you can give no matter what their fitness level is, plus being fit helps kids grow up strong, teens develop good fitness habits, and adults stay strong as they move into their silver or golden years.
Giving a fitness present is not only a wonderful gift for a fitness buff, but a wonderful gift to give to anyone, no matter what age, to help them learn build up their bodies, to keep strong, and enjoy the endolphins 🙂
